Before a work meeting

Ask about time in Korean — 우리 회의 언제 시작해요? (When does our meeting start?) — using 언제 (when) and 몇 시 (what time).

    Tip: <오후> = afternoon, p.m. <다섯> = "five" (native korean number counting) <Native korean number + 시> = at N o' clock

    Daseot si... Geureom myeot sie kkeunnayo?

    5 o'clock... What time does it end?

    Tip: <그럼> = then <몇 시에> = what time <끝나요> = verb "to end" (in present tense)

    저녁 여섯 시 전에 끝나요. 걱정마세요.

    Jeonyeok yeoseot si jeone kkeunnayo. Geokjeongmaseyo.

    It ends before 6 in the evening. Don't worry.

    Tip: <저녁> = evening <여섯> = "six" (native korean number counting) <전에> = before <걱정마세요> = formal way to say "Don't worry"
