Use πιο + adjective OR change the adjective ending. Καλός → καλύτερος. Then add από + comparison.

What does ο προηγούμενος mean?

'The previous (one)'. Ο προηγούμενος μήνας = 'last month'. Adjective agrees with noun gender.
