Introduce parents in French — Voici mon père, Bolin (This is my dad, Bolin) — using voici and possessive mon/ma.

What is voici?

'Here is / this is' — used to present someone or something close. Voici mon père = 'this is my father'. Voilà = 'there is' (further).

Mon vs ma in French?

Mon for masculine OR feminine starting with vowel: mon père, mon amie. Ma for feminine starting with consonant: ma sœur. Mes for plural.
