    Tip: <samui> = cold (only for weather). The second category of adjectives is "i" ending adjectives. They don't change according from the position in the sentence, but they do change according to other variables

    Tip: <ame> = rain / rainy

    Tip: <hare> = sunny

What is an い-adjective?

An adjective ending in い in Japanese (samui, atsui, takai). They conjugate by changing the い ending — no need for です changes.

'Sunny' or 'clear' — a noun. 晴れです = 'it's sunny'. 晴れる = the verb 'to clear up'.
